A highly respected specialist Employment Law practice is seeking an ambitious Employment Paralegal to join its growing team in Dubai.
This Employment Paralegal role offers the opportunity to work alongside leading Employment Lawyers on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters. The successful Employment Paralegal will gain exposure to high-quality employment disputes, advisory work, legal research, drafting, and direct client interaction, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their legal career within a specialist practice.
The Employment Paralegal will become part of a collaborative and supportive team, assisting on complex employment matters across the UAE whilst developing their technical knowledge and legal expertise in a fast-paced environment.
You must have previous Employment Paralegal or Employment Legal Assistant experience to be considered for this role.
The Employment Paralegal's RoleThe successful Employment Paralegal will support senior lawyers throughout the lifecycle of employment matters and play a key role in the day-to-day management of cases.
Responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with employment litigation matters from inception through to conclusion.
* Preparing, organising and managing court bundles and case documentation.
* Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, tribunals and third parties.
* Supporting disclosure exercises, including Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
* Conducting legal research and fact-finding exercises.
* Drafting legal updates, articles, client communications and internal know-how materials.
* Proofreading, formatting and reviewing legal documentation.
* Supporting client onboarding procedures, including KYC and AML compliance checks.
* Opening new matters and maintaining document management systems.
* Providing administrative and organisational support to senior fee earners.
* Assisting with business development initiatives and client engagement activities.
The Employment ParalegalThe Employment Paralegal should ideally possess:
* A minimum of 12 months' experience as an Employment Paralegal or Employment Legal Assistant.
* Previous exposure to employment law matters is essential.
* Knowledge of UAE, DIFC and/or ADGM Employment Law would be highly advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong IT skills, including experience using document management systems and Microsoft Office.
