About SpeedCV

We build the CV tool we wish existed when we were on the other side of the desk.

SpeedCV is an AI-powered CV builder operated from London. We help UK candidates get past ATS filters and land interviews — built by someone who watched the problem from the sales floor for eight years.

Our story

From the sales floor to a CV that lands.

In 2014, Seif Messaoudene took a sales job he expected to last six months. It lasted eight years. Windows, solar panels, heat pumps — door-to-door across France, then trade-show floors in Lausanne, Geneva and Lyon. Thirty consumer fairs. Sales teams of four to five to coach. Contracts worth £150,000+ closed in a weekend.

The job taught him to read people quickly. Which signals matter. Which words actually land. And it brought him into thousands of conversations with people on the other side of his pitch — candidates, career-changers, parents getting back to work. Skilled people. Many of them losing job opportunities for reasons that, on closer inspection, had nothing to do with their skills.

The pattern took a while to see clearly. By 2023 it was undeniable: in the UK, 70%+ of larger employers use an Applicant Tracking System to filter CVs before a human ever reads them (CIPD, 2024). Globally, the figure crosses 98% for Fortune 500. People were writing CVs for humans while machines were doing the filtering. The advice industry kept publishing guides. Nobody was building tools that talked to the actual gatekeeper.

So Seif did what salespeople do when they spot an unmet need — he built the product himself. A self-taught engineering journey followed: TypeScript, React, AI integration, design systems, SEO. The project was incubated under Verrilux Sàrl in Switzerland in 2024, and on 20 May 2026 SpeedCV Ltd was incorporated in London (#17232403) to serve the UK market natively. No outsourced dev shop, no agency layer. Built and maintained in-house, alongside a UK editorial network that reviews every template and article.

“Your CV is a sales pitch about you. The hardest sales pitch you’ll ever make, because the buyer changes every time. We just give you the tools to make it land.”— Seif Messaoudene, Founder

What we believe

Five principles, not a mission statement.

A mission statement is a poster. Principles are how we actually make decisions when the easier option is in front of us.

01

Your CV is a sales pitch, not a form.

Every section, every line, every word is selling you to a specific audience. We design for that — not for a generic “professional document” framework.

02

AI assists. Humans decide.

We don’t believe in “one-click CVs”. We believe AI is a fast draftsman and a brutally honest editor — but you stay the author. You always control the final version that goes out.

03

UK conventions, not global templates.

CCR 2013. Equality Act 2010. No photo. British spelling. Personal statements that open. Education by recency. Global “resume builders” miss most of this. We don’t.

04

Transparency over polish.

We publish our entities (SpeedCV Ltd UK, Verrilux Sàrl CH), our director, our compliance posture. No fake testimonials, no fabricated star ratings, no offshore black-box company hidden behind a brand name.

05

Built in-house. No agency layer.

Every line of code, every template, every blog article goes through us before it touches a user. UK editorial network for content review. UK solicitor for legal pages. No outsourcing of trust.

By the numbers

No vanity metrics. Just what we can verify.

We don’t publish ARR, “happy customers” or curated 4.9☆ averages. Here’s what we can show you we actually have.

The team behind

A small team. Clear separation of roles.

We’re small on purpose. Each role is sharp, accountable, and exposed publicly. No black-box collective.
