Dear Hiring Manager,
Tesco's focus on genuine doorstep service — handling order substitutions with care and leaving every customer feeling valued — is exactly the standard I hold myself to as a driver. I am applying for the Customer Delivery Driver position at your Cirencester Extra store and bring a clean UK driving licence held for over three years, alongside hands-on experience in customer-facing delivery roles where punctuality and a warm manner are non-negotiable.
My background in delivery driving includes completing pre-drive vehicle safety checks, loading vans to protect chilled and fragile items, and managing multi-stop routes to meet tight time slots. I have regularly handled face-to-face situations involving substituted items and refunds, always ensuring the customer leaves the interaction satisfied.
