Dear Hiring Manager,
Tesco's reputation for putting customers first is precisely what draws me to the Customer Delivery Driver role at the Broughton Extra store. I hold a valid full UK driving licence with fewer than three penalty points and over 12 months of driving experience, and I am confident in carrying out thorough vehicle safety checks and managing time-slot deliveries to a high standard.
My background in customer-facing roles has equipped me with the communication skills needed to handle order substitutions and short-dated items sensitively at the doorstep, ensuring every customer feels valued. I am comfortable working independently for extended periods while staying accountable to a base team — a working pattern that suits my approach well.
