1Question

Tell me about a time you managed multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously

During Q4 reporting period, I simultaneously managed onboarding for 12 new contractors, quarterly compliance certification for 6 departments, and a system migration affecting 85 users. I created a priority matrix tracking all deadlines and dependencies, scheduling daily check-ins with key stakeholders. By breaking each project into weekly milestones and maintaining detailed Excel trackers, I delivered all projects on time. The onboarding was completed 2 days early, compliance achieved 100% certification rate, and the system migration had zero access issues post-launch.
2Question

Describe a situation where your attention to detail prevented a significant error

While validating time booking entries in our system, I noticed discrepancies in contractor billing codes that didn't match their project assignments. Upon investigation, I discovered 8 contractors were being charged to the wrong cost centres, totalling £15,400 in misallocated expenses. I immediately flagged this to the finance team and worked with project managers to correct the allocations. I then implemented a weekly validation checklist that prevented similar errors, saving the company approximately £3,200 per month in misallocated costs.
