1Question

Tell me about a time you had to rebuild a relationship with a dissatisfied recruitment agency client

A major construction recruitment agency was threatening to leave due to delayed contractor payments affecting 15 workers. I immediately arranged a face-to-face meeting to understand their concerns and discovered our payroll team lacked visibility of their urgent payment schedules. I implemented a weekly check-in process and created a dedicated communication channel between their operations team and our payroll department. Within 3 weeks, payment delays dropped to zero, and the agency increased their contractor placements by 40% over the following quarter, praising our improved responsiveness and transparency.
2Question

Describe a situation where you identified an opportunity to increase contractor numbers within an existing account

While reviewing quarterly reports, I noticed a healthcare agency was only using our services for 12 contractors despite having 45 active placements. During our regular review meeting, I discovered they were using multiple payroll providers due to concerns about our capacity during peak periods. I worked with our operations team to guarantee 48-hour processing times and created a dedicated support channel for their high-volume periods. This resulted in them consolidating 28 additional contractors to our platform within 2 months, generating £8,400 in additional monthly revenue.
