Imperial Recruitment Group are working with a key client based in Stockton who are looking to appoint a Marketing Manager on a contract basis covering maternity cover
Purpose:
We are looking for a commercially focused Marketing Manager to lead direct sales marketing for the business on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This role is pivotal in driving high-quality lead generation, improving conversion performance, and supporting revenue growth.
Working closely with the Head of Sales, Contact Centre, and wider marketing team, you will plan and deliver integrated campaigns, optimise the end-to-end customer journey, and use data-driven insight to continuously improve performance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident in making data-driven decisions and can balance strategic thinking with effective execution.
Duties:
- Develop and implement the direct sales marketing strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support sales targets and regional performance.
- Oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of both online and offline marketing campaigns.
- Create, publish, and maintain marketing materials in line with brand guidelines and corporate standards.
- Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness, using data and insights to optimise performance.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and proactively collaborate with partners to maximise lead performance.
- Work closely with the graphic design team to produce creative, engaging, and high-performing campaign assets and copy.
- Support new product or campaign launches with targeted marketing initiatives
- Manage the direct sales marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and return on investment.
- Develop and optimise lead generation campaigns, tracking performance against agreed KPIs.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior stakeholders, including performance trends and recommendations.
- Work closely with the Head of Sales and Contact Centre team to ensure alignment between marketing activity and contact centre performance.
- Support the optimisation of lead handling, conversion rates, and appointment setting through data, insight, and campaign planning.
- Collaborate on KPIs, targets, and reporting to ensure marketing-generated leads are effectively managed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer journey, ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
- Drive initiatives to increase the volume and quality of customer reviews to support conversion and brand trust.
- Work collaboratively to enhance the performance of the customer referral programme.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Demonstrable knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Demonstrable experience of planning meetings and trade shows, establishing contacts and maintaining mailing lists
- Demonstrable knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
- Demonstrable experience of B2C marketing experience
