Dear Hiring Manager,
David Lloyd Clubs' reputation for premium aquatics facilities and its network of over 180 pools is precisely why the Lifeguard position in Rugby appeals to me. I hold a current NPLQ qualification and have hands-on experience conducting pool water tests, maintaining accurate H&S documentation, and delivering poolside supervision to a high standard — all of which your advert identifies as central to this role.
My background in aquatics and leisure has equipped me with the scanning techniques, emergency response procedures, and member communication skills needed to keep a busy pool environment safe and welcoming. I have consistently ensured pool areas remain compliant with health and safety requirements while contributing positively to the member experience during peak sessions of up to 75 bathers.
