- Hours: Full-time Mon-Thurs 9-5.30 and Fridays 9-5
We are seeking an HR Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial for supporting our HR team with a heavy recruitment focus, managing recruitment campaigns, and providing comprehensive HR administrative support. The ideal candidate must be a driver, as some travel to other offices in Norfolk is required for inductions and meetings.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage and support the full recruitment cycle for 14 ongoing campaigns, including job postings, screening, interviews, and issuing employment contracts.
- Conduct onboarding and induction sessions for new starters, ensuring compliance checks are completed.
- Provide support to line managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Handle general HR queries and provide advice and guidance to staff.
- Take minutes at disciplinary and other HR-related meetings.
- Assist with payroll administration, contract variations, and benefits administration.
- Manage data entry and maintain online documents and HR systems.
- Handle invoice management and note-taking at Employee Relations (ER) meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an HR support role, particularly in recruitment and administrative support.
- Ability to travel to different offices within Norfolk.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
- Experience in handling confidential information and providing support across various HR processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
