1Question

Tell me about a time when you had to troubleshoot a critical system failure at a customer site under pressure

During a weekend call-out, a pharmaceutical client's packaging line failed, threatening £15,000 daily production loss. I systematically isolated the fault to a faulty PLC module within 45 minutes using diagnostic software and circuit analysis. I sourced a replacement module from our emergency stock and reconfigured the system parameters according to the engineering specifications. The line was operational within 3 hours, preventing production delays and maintaining the client's delivery schedule to their retail customers.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to provide technical support to an international customer with language barriers

A German automotive client contacted our helpdesk about intermittent conveyor issues affecting their assembly line efficiency. Despite language challenges, I used technical diagrams and step-by-step email instructions with photographs to guide their maintenance team through diagnostic procedures. I scheduled video calls during their shift patterns and provided translated technical documentation. This remote support approach resolved the issue within 2 days, saving a £3,200 site visit and strengthening our relationship with their engineering team.
