Cover Supervisor - SEN School (KS3-KS4)
Prospero Teaching are supporting our client SEN school, a nurturing and highly supportive setting for KS3 and KS4 pupils who have found mainstream education challenging. Many of the young people here have SEMH needs, communication difficulties or may display distressed behaviour - and they need adults who genuinely believe in them.

- A genuine desire to help young people reconnect with learning and, where possible, move back into mainstream education

- Step into lessons across KS3 and KS4 when teachers are absent
- Deliver pre-planned lessons with confidence and positivity
- Keep the classroom calm, structured and safe
- Build trusting relationships with pupils who may not trust easily
- Support young people with emotional regulation and behaviour
- Work closely with the school's therapeutic team when not covering lessons, helping to create a consistent, supportive environment across the centre
