For over 30 years my client has been offering a wide range of Financial products and services and is now expanding into the Personal Lines and Commercial Insurance market. With an existing client base of over 4,000, our aim is to offer existing clients bespoke insurance solutions, consisting of MNW/HNW and commercial solutions.
The Role
This is a relationship-led insurance sales role, combining telephone, digital, and face-to-face activity. You will be responsible for generating and converting new MNW/HNW and commercial business through a blend of proactive prospecting (calls, emails, social media, networking), local knowledge, referrals, and word-of-mouth opportunities. You will also be able to leverage our existing client bank to support new business acquisition and introductions. You will meet clients both over the phone and in person at their premises, taking the time to genuinely understand their business, risks, and future plans. Our USP is personable service, expert advice, and a deep understanding of our clients’ insurance requirements.
Training & Support
You will receive extensive training and support, including:
- Structured onboarding and development
- Access to an established commercial client base to support growth
This is a role where you will be developed properly, supported consistently, and given the time and tools needed to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new MNW/HNW and Commercial insurance opportunities through access to our large and broad client base
- Proactive prospecting and networking
- Build and manage your own pipeline of prospects and opportunities
- Advise clients on appropriate bespoke personal lines and commercial insurance solutions
- Convert opportunities into sustainable, long-term client relationships
- Identify and cross-sell appropriate additional covers
- Work accurately and compliantly within a regulated environment
- Deliver a high standard of professional, personal client service
Salary is base of £40k -£48k + Bonus / commission This is also 3 days office and 2 days home / field based
