1Question

Tell me about a time you managed multiple project priorities simultaneously

During a busy period, I was supporting 6 refurbishment projects across 2 hospital sites with overlapping timelines. I created a master programme showing all critical milestones and potential conflicts. When contractor delays on Ward A threatened to impact the adjacent pharmacy refurbishment, I coordinated with both teams to reschedule deliveries and adjust the sequence. I held daily stand-ups with project leads and maintained updated risk logs for each project. This approach meant all 6 projects completed within 2 weeks of their original dates, and stakeholders had clear visibility throughout the process.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to engage with difficult stakeholders

A senior consultant was resistant to a ward refurbishment that would temporarily relocate their clinic. They raised concerns about patient disruption and questioned the project timeline. I arranged a dedicated meeting to understand their specific concerns and worked with the clinical team to map out patient pathways. I then coordinated with the contractor to adjust the phasing plan, reducing disruption from 8 weeks to 4 weeks. I provided weekly updates showing progress and maintained regular communication. The consultant became a project advocate, even suggesting improvements that saved £3,200 in variations.
