1Question

Tell me about a time you had to learn a new technical skill quickly

When our facility upgraded to new control systems, I had 2 weeks to master the interface before going live. I dedicated 3 hours daily to studying manuals and practicing on the test system. I created reference cards for complex procedures and shadowed experienced technicians during their shifts. By implementation day, I successfully operated the new system without errors and trained 4 colleagues on the key functions, ensuring smooth transition across all shifts.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to manage your time effectively across multiple customer sites

During a busy maintenance period, I managed 8 customer sites requiring urgent electrical inspections within 3 days. I mapped the most efficient route, prioritised sites by equipment criticality, and prepared all necessary tools in advance. I completed morning inspections at 3 high-priority sites, afternoon visits to 3 medium-priority locations, and scheduled 2 routine checks for the following day. This approach delivered all urgent work on time while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction.
