The RoleAs a Supply Design & Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining positive classroom environments and supporting students in reaching their potential.
Subjects may include:
- Resistant Materials
- Product Design
- Food Technology
- Engineering
- Graphics
- General DT
Assignments can range from:
- Day-to-day cover
- Short-term placements
- Long-term opportunities
- Potential permanent positions
- Deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons
- Follow school lesson plans and curriculum
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Inspire and motivate students
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs
- Ensure student safety within practical classroom environments
- Mark work where required and provide feedback

Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism or experience teaching Design & Technology
- Strong classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Passion for education and student development
- Ability to travel to local schools
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, due to travel between schools and varying locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
