Tradewind Recruitment is a leading education recruitment agency, partnering with a wide network of secondary schools across Doncaster. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Sports Coaches and Cover Supervisors to support our partner schools on a daily, short-term, and long-term basis.
The Role:
This is a flexible and rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and supporting their development. Successful candidates will step into classrooms to supervise lessons, deliver pre-set work, and maintain a positive learning environment. Sports Coaches will also have opportunities to support PE lessons and extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Engage and motivate students to stay on task
- Support the delivery of PE lessons and sports activities (where applicable)
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment at all times
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people (e.g., coaching, mentoring, tutoring, or classroom support)
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Relevant qualifications in sports coaching or education (desirable but not essential)
