1Question

Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult visitor or caller

A client arrived 45 minutes early for their consultation whilst our design team was in another meeting. The client was frustrated about waiting and demanded immediate attention. I acknowledged their concern, offered refreshments, and proactively contacted the design team to see if we could accommodate an earlier start. When that wasn't possible, I provided the client with our latest portfolio and project case studies to review. I also arranged for them to speak briefly with a senior designer who could answer initial questions. The client appreciated the personal attention and later complimented our customer service approach.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to prioritise multiple urgent tasks

During a particularly busy morning, I had three urgent deliveries arriving simultaneously, two important client calls on hold, and a VIP visitor waiting in reception. I quickly assessed the priorities: I asked the visitor to take a seat with refreshments, directed the courier to the goods entrance, and answered the most urgent client call first whilst signaling to a colleague to assist with the second call. I then processed the deliveries efficiently by having them staged in order of urgency. By staying calm and communicating clearly with everyone involved, I managed to handle all tasks within 20 minutes without any complaints.
