WANTED! An organised Property Manager is required in Reading to help oversee a managed residential portfolio: manage maintenance issues, ensure compliance, and deliver excellent service to landlords and tenants within a busy lettings environment.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Manager to join a successful independent Estate & Lettings Agency in Reading.
This role offers responsibility for managing a residential portfolio, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Managing a portfolio of residential rental properties
- Handling maintenance issues and coordinating repairs with contractors
- Ensuring all safety certificates and compliance requirements are up to date
- Serving notices, including Section 8 and Section 21 where required
- Liaising with landlords and tenants to resolve queries and issues
- Conducting property inspections and reporting findings
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Working to deadlines within a busy environment

- Previous experience in residential property management
- Good understanding of lettings legislation and procedures
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload

- ARLA qualification advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving licence required
