1Question

Tell me about a time you had to resolve a dispute between a landlord and tenant

A landlord contacted me demanding immediate rent arrears of £2,400 from a tenant who claimed heating hadn't worked for 3 weeks. I arranged an emergency inspection within 24 hours and discovered the boiler had indeed failed. I coordinated urgent repairs costing £850 and negotiated a payment plan where the tenant paid 75% of outstanding rent immediately, with the remaining £600 spread over 3 months. Both parties agreed this was fair given the heating issue, and the tenancy continued successfully for another 18 months.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to work under pressure to meet a deadline

During a busy December period, I had 12 safety certificates expiring within 48 hours across different properties. I immediately contacted 4 certified contractors and coordinated a schedule ensuring all inspections were completed. I personally attended 6 properties to provide access and managed to get all certificates renewed within the deadline. This prevented any compliance issues and maintained our 100% safety certificate compliance record for the year.
