You will join an established and expanding business responsible for conducting Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 at client sites. The role involves both scheduled assessments and weekly monitoring/flushing for multiple tower blocks owned by a local District Council, as well as other commercial and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out Legionella risk assessments in compliance with COSHH regulations / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 / BS 8580-1:2019
- Compile schematic drawings and validate final documentation for clients
- Provide recommendations for eliminating, reducing, and managing risk
- Produce comprehensive reports and attend client meetings to discuss findings
- Minimum 2 years' experience conducting L8 risk assessments (preferably from a Legionella consultancy background)
- Experienced candidates: 5+ years with high-risk water systems
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, water supply regulations
- Approved Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc)
- Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and associated guidance documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Full UK driving license
