HR Advisor
Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Buckinghamshire (hybrid working pattern)
Contract: Permanent, full time

MLC are working with an innovative and nationally recognised UK charity dedicated to improving and saving lives through pioneering healthcare support and research. They are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a growing organisation committed to creating an exceptional employee experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing operational HR delivery with strategic people initiatives and is passionate about building positive workplace cultures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive HR advice and support to managers and employees across a range of employee relations matters including performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance, and redundancy cases.
- Lead and continuously improve end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.
- Support managers in delivering effective one-to-one meetings and annual performance reviews.
- Review, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice.
- Deliver HR administration and transactional support throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Analyse HR data and trends to support informed decision-making and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to help foster an inclusive, people-focused culture.
About You
- CIPD Level 5 qualification.
- At least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR Advisory position.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and employee relations case management.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work independently.
Desirable Experience
- Reward and recognition initiatives.
- HR systems experience, ideally Breathe HR.
- Experience supporting organisational change and continuous improvement projects.
- Experience coaching and developing managers.
