Handling products with care, treating every order as if it were your own to maintain quality and customer trust.
Delivering within the customer’s time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep and leaving customers feeling valued and well looked after.

Dear Hiring Manager,
Tesco's reputation for putting customers first is precisely what draws me to the Customer Delivery Driver role at Walkden Extra. I hold a valid full UK driving licence with over two years' clean driving history and no penalty points, and I have direct experience managing doorstep deliveries, handling order substitutions, and completing pre-shift vehicle safety checks to keep every run roadworthy and on schedule.
My background in customer-facing delivery work has equipped me with the ability to work independently across varied shifts while maintaining a warm, professional manner at every doorstep. I understand that managing changes to a customer's order — whether substitutions or short-dated items — requires both clear communication and genuine reassurance, and I take pride in leaving customers feeling well looked after.
