Job Title: Cook – Leisure Café
Location: Rutland Water LE15 8HD
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, temp to perm
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at a busy and friendly leisure café. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality food.
Working Hours:
- 5 days out of 7
- Weekdays: 9:00am – 5:30pm
- Weekends: 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Every other weekend off
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of fresh meals to a high standard
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
- Following food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assisting with stock control and ordering supplies
- Working as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
