1Question

Tell me about a time you worked on your own initiative to achieve a commercial goal

When our membership renewals dropped by 15%, I took the initiative to research member feedback and identified a gap in our commercial offers. I developed relationships with 5 local businesses to create exclusive member discounts, negotiating partnerships that provided £2,400 in additional value to members. I created a communication plan to promote these offers through our newsletter and social media. As a result, we saw a 22% increase in membership renewals over the next quarter, with members specifically citing the new commercial partnerships as a key factor in their decision to renew.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to coordinate multiple stakeholders

I was tasked with launching a new corporate partnership programme involving our internal marketing team, finance department, and 8 external sponsors. I established weekly coordination meetings and created a shared project tracker to monitor progress across all parties. When two sponsors had conflicting promotional requirements, I facilitated compromise discussions and developed a rotation schedule that satisfied both parties. I maintained regular communication with all stakeholders through weekly updates and monthly progress reports. The programme launched on schedule and generated £15,000 in sponsorship revenue within the first 6 months, with all stakeholders reporting satisfaction with the coordination process.
