Dear Hiring Manager,
Tesco Booker's Class 2 Driver role in Enfield stands out to me because of its focus on local route consistency and genuine customer relationships — two things I take seriously behind the wheel. I hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence with an up-to-date Driver CPC card, and I have hands-on experience with tail lift operation, cage handling and vehicle defect reporting across busy multi-drop delivery schedules.
My background in last-mile and wholesale distribution has given me a thorough grounding in H&S risk assessment at customer premises, safe loading and unloading procedures, and maintaining GDPR-compliant delivery records. I consistently complete pre-drive defect checks and have operated tachographs in full compliance with drivers' hours regulations throughout my career.
