⭐ Lead with your Welsh language fluency in your Personal Statement — the advert lists it as the primary requirement and it is the single biggest differentiator for this role.
📊 Quantify your classroom experience: e.g. "Supported 6 pupils with additional learning needs across Foundation Phase, contributing to a 20% improvement in reading assessment scores."
🎯 Explicitly reference Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 by name in your CV's experience section, as these are the two curriculum stages named in the advert.
🏫 Highlight any Welsh-medium or bilingual school experience prominently — even informal settings (youth clubs, Urdd, Welsh-language tutoring) strengthen your Welsh-language credentials.
📋 Confirm your Enhanced DBS status on the Update Service in your CV or covering letter, as the advert specifically requests this and it removes a common hiring barrier.
