1Question

Tell me about a time you had to balance user needs with business conversion goals

When redesigning an online furniture retailer's product page, user research showed customers wanted detailed specifications, but the business worried this would slow purchase decisions. I created a progressive disclosure solution with expandable sections for technical details while keeping key selling points prominent. The design increased time-on-page by 35% and conversion by 18%, proving that better user experience directly supported business goals. I presented A/B test results to stakeholders showing how informed customers became more confident buyers.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to work with cross-functional teams on a tight deadline

Our ecommerce platform needed urgent checkout redesign before Black Friday, with just 3 weeks to delivery. I coordinated daily standups with developers, product managers, and marketing teams, creating rapid Figma prototypes for immediate feedback. I prioritised the most impactful changes first and created detailed component specifications to accelerate development. We launched 2 days early, achieving 22% improvement in checkout completion during the peak sales period. Clear communication and structured handoffs were crucial to meeting the deadline.
