Robert Walters is working in partnership with a UK digital design business. They specialize in support product teams designing UX across a range of industries with a global customer base. They range from working with start-ups, scale-ups and global enterprise businesses. Due to continued growth, they are keen to grow out the design team and looking to appoint multiple UI/UX Designers across mid-level to senior appointments.
The opportunity for UI/UX Designers will be based out of the Birmingham offices with a relaxed hybrid model (approx. 1 days a month) paying a range of £35,000 to £65,000 based on experience.
As an experienced UI/UX Designer you will have experience in creating user-centered digital experiences, leading complex projects from concept to delivery.
UI/UX Designer: Duties
- Lead the design of complex products and apps from concept to delivery with a user-centered approach
- Combine creativity, logic, and data-driven insights to craft elegant solutions for user needs
- Conduct research, testing, and analysis to understand user behaviour and intent
- Collaborate on ambitious projects that aim to create meaningful impact.
UI/UX Designer: Experience
- Figma Design System - Essential
- UX/UI Design: Wireframing (lo-hi fidelity), prototyping (Figma), interaction design
- User Research: Personas, testing, analytics, A/B testing, heatmaps
- Design Systems & Accessibility (GDS experience)
- Tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, Miro, Jira, Confluence, Figma Make, Base44
- Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JS, AI Tools
The permanent opportunity for a UI/UX Designer will pay a salary range of £35,000 to £65,000 based on experience. This is a hybrid role based out of the Birmingham offices (circa 1 day a month).
