Are you looking to benefit from a new career in Software Development?

Skills shortages in the IT sector is driving the need for qualified, entry-level career seekers and career changers.

We help place graduates from this programme in top UK companies and organisations needing to employ entry-level software development staff that can hit the ground running with up-to-date skills gained from this programme.

The best part is you will not need any previous experience as fully accredited training, which includes tutor support and mentoring, provides you with the skills, practical knowledge, and qualifications for you to secure a professional job and career in coding. You will also have the reassurance of a job guarantee (£25K-£40K) upon completion.

Whether you are working full-time, part-time or are unemployed, this package has the flexibility to be completed at a pace that suits you and can be completed in a few weeks or a few months (step 1 to 4 below). Your job and career goals are completed in four simple steps.

Step 1 -HTML and CSS Online Training (*12 weeks)

The first step is completing a selection of professional and industry-recognised courses. We have carefully selected these courses to give you the most out of both your learning and employment journey.

  • HTML Essentials (6 weeks)
  • CSS Essentials (6 weeks)

The training is delivered via multimedia rich video tutorials, presentations, and quizzes through a portal that you study online from anywhere you choose. You will also be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor to help you throughout your training.

Once the HTML & CSS courses are complete, you will be ready to move forward.

Step 2 -Online Training (*12 weeks)

The second step includes a selection of more advanced courses to get you up to speed.

  • Learn the Command Line (1.5 weeks)
  • Learn Git & GitHub (1.5 weeks)
  • Learn JavaScript (1.5 weeks)
  • Learn Python 3 (1.5 weeks)

JavaScript forms the foundation of almost everything you see on the Internet, so it will be essential! Python is highly versatile. You can use it for both small and complex tasks, and it is used across many different industries.

Step 3 - Build a Portfolio Website Project (1 week)

Additional Courses

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Step 4 -Entry Level Development placement (£25K - £40k)

We work with you to secure your first role in software development, website administration or programming, with a starting salary of anywhere between £25K - £40k. While working in your first role, we will release your second batch of training which is specifically designed to increase your development knowledge to help you develop your career further to become a software developer.

We have been helping career changers and new career seekers gain new careers since 2009 and we are a CompTIA Gold Partner, accredited by the BCS (Chartered Institute of IT/ British Computer Society) to ensure we provide the highest levels of training.

In addition, we are also ELCAS approved to help members of the Armed Forces, Service Leavers and Veterans gain rewarding careers in IT and Cybersecurity.

Job Guarantee

Due to the success of this programme and the skills shortage of entry-level development staff, we can guarantee you will secure a job upon completion of your study programme, or we will refund you 100% of your course fees back. This is subject to our terms of learning/ terms of business.

Application advice

5 AI-generated recommendations to maximise your chances.

1

⭐ Showcase your BCS-accredited training prominently in your CV header or Personal Statement, as employers scanning entry-level CVs will recognise the CompTIA Gold Partner and BCS credentials as quality signals.

2

📊 Quantify your portfolio project: e.g. 'Built a 5-page responsive portfolio website using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, deployed via GitHub Pages within 1 week.'

3

🎯 List each completed course module explicitly (HTML Essentials, CSS Essentials, Learn JavaScript, Learn Python 3) in an Education or Training section so ATS systems pick up these keywords directly.

4

🌐 Include your GitHub profile URL on your CV — employers hiring entry-level developers expect to see a live code repository demonstrating your HTML, CSS and JavaScript work.

5

🤝 Highlight any AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Administrator Associate certifications as a separate Certifications section; cloud credentials are in high demand and differentiate entry-level candidates significantly.

1Question

Tell me about a time you had to learn a new skill quickly with limited support. How did you approach it?

Situation: In a previous administrative role, our team was asked to migrate 3 years of client records into a new CRM system within 2 weeks, and no formal training was provided. Task: I needed to learn the platform independently while maintaining my daily workload. Action: I dedicated 45 minutes each morning before the office opened to work through the CRM's online tutorial library, created a personal cheat sheet of the 10 most-used functions, and tested imports on a dummy dataset before touching live records. Result: I completed the migration 3 days ahead of the deadline with zero data errors, and my cheat sheet was adopted by 4 colleagues who were struggling with the same process.
2Question

Describe a situation where you set yourself a personal goal and had to manage your time to achieve it.

Situation: While working full-time in retail, I decided to complete an online digital marketing course in 8 weeks to improve my career prospects. Task: The course required 6 hours of study per week alongside a 40-hour working week. Action: I mapped out every module against my shift rota, blocked two 90-minute study sessions on weekday evenings and one 3-hour session on Sunday mornings, and set weekly mini-targets to stay on track. I used a simple spreadsheet to log progress and flag any modules I needed to revisit. Result: I finished the course in 7 weeks, scoring 88% on the final assessment, and used the certificate to secure a junior marketing coordinator interview within a month.
