Job description

Location: North London Office Based Experience: 3+ Years in an RICS Surveying Firm
The Role
Are you a seasoned administrator who knows the difference between a Building Survey and a HomeBuyer Report? We are a premier RICS Regulated Surveying Practice based in London, and we’re looking for a sharp, organized, and proactive Senior Administrator to become the backbone of our operations.
You won't just be "answering phones"—you will be the primary link between our high-net-worth clients, corporate partners, and our team of RICS Qualified Surveyors.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking Management: End-to-end handling of survey bookings, ensuring all appointments are logically scheduled to maximize surveyor efficiency across London postcodes.
- Surveyor Liaison: Acting as the main point of contact for our RICS surveyors, managing their diaries, and ensuring they have all necessary site information/access details. Sourcing new potential RICS qualified surveyors to join our panel of experts.
- Client Relations: Providing a professional first point of contact for clients, explaining our services, and managing expectations regarding turnaround times.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensuring all files meet RICS Red Book standards and internal audit requirements before and after inspections.
- Report Coordination: Assisting in the formatting and timely dispatch of valuation reports and surveys.
About You
This isn't your first rodeo in the property world. To hit the ground running, you must have:
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience working specifically within an RICS surveying firm.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of RICS terminology, survey types (Levels 1, 2, and 3), and valuation processes.
- Logistical Flair: Exceptional diary management skills—you can navigate London’s geography mentally to ensure surveyors aren't crisscrossing the city unnecessarily.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., Quest, GoReport, or similar) and standard MS Office suites.
- The "London Pace": The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-moving market where deadlines are non-negotiable.
Why Join Us?
- Competitive Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 (DOE).
- Growth: We are a growing firm with a clear path for those looking to move into Office Management or Practice Coordination.
- Culture: A professional yet supportive environment where your expertise is genuinely valued.
- Perks: Pension scheme, seasonal social events, and a central London office hub.
How to Apply
If you have the RICS background we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter highlighting your experience within a surveying practice.
Note: Candidates without prior experience in a professional surveying or valuation environment will not be considered for this specific senior-level role.
