1Question

Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer during a removal

During a house move in St Albans, the customer became upset when they discovered a family heirloom had a small scratch. I immediately acknowledged their concern and took photos to document the damage. I contacted my supervisor and arranged for our insurance assessor to visit within 24 hours. I also helped the customer carefully wrap the item for safe storage until repairs could be arranged. The customer appreciated my honest approach and professional handling of the situation, leaving a positive review despite the initial problem.
2Question

How do you handle being away from home for extended periods?

Last year I completed a 5-day removal from London to Munich, staying in company-arranged accommodation each night. I prepare by packing essentials and planning communication times with family. I use the evening downtime to research local areas and plan efficient routes for the next day. I maintain a positive attitude by viewing it as paid travel experience. The variety keeps the job interesting, and I've built good relationships with regular European clients who specifically request our team for their relocations.
