1Question

Tell me about a time you provided excellent customer service under pressure

During a particularly busy Christmas period, I was delivering to 32 customers when my van broke down 3 hours into my shift. I immediately contacted my manager and arranged for a replacement vehicle while personally calling each remaining customer to explain the 90-minute delay. I offered to reschedule if needed and provided updates every 30 minutes. Despite the setback, I completed all deliveries that day and received 8 positive customer feedback comments praising my communication and professionalism during the disruption.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to work as part of a team to meet a deadline

Our warehouse team faced a challenge when 2 colleagues called in sick during our busiest delivery day, leaving us 400 orders behind schedule by midday. I volunteered to extend my shift and coordinated with 3 other drivers to reorganise our routes more efficiently. We consolidated deliveries by postcode and I took on an additional 15 stops. Through teamwork and flexible route planning, we completed all 400 orders by 7pm, meeting our same-day delivery promise to customers.
