1Question

Describe a time when you had to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

During a busy retail shift, our delivery schedule changed unexpectedly with 3 urgent stock deliveries arriving simultaneously instead of spread throughout the day. I quickly assessed the situation and reorganised my team of 4 colleagues to handle the increased workload. I prioritised the most time-sensitive products first, delegated specific tasks to each team member, and maintained clear communication with store management about timing. As a result, we processed all deliveries within 2 hours instead of the usual 4, maintaining our 99% on-time completion rate and avoiding any customer service disruptions.
2Question

Tell me about a situation where you built a positive relationship with a difficult stakeholder

I worked with a store manager who was initially resistant to our new display requirements, citing space constraints and customer complaints. Rather than pushing back, I scheduled a 30-minute meeting to understand their specific concerns and walked the shop floor with them. I discovered their main issue was customer flow disruption during peak hours. I proposed adjusting our setup timing to off-peak periods and modified the display layout to improve customer navigation. Within 3 weeks, the manager became one of our strongest advocates, and their store achieved 105% of display compliance targets while maintaining customer satisfaction scores above 4.2 stars.
