1Question

Tell me about a time you successfully re-engaged a lapsed customer

I identified a construction contractor who hadn't ordered for 8 months despite previously spending £2,400 monthly on plumbing components. I researched their recent projects and discovered they'd switched to a competitor due to delivery delays. I called to acknowledge the past issues and offered a trial order with guaranteed next-day delivery. I personally tracked their £800 test order and followed up within 24 hours. This rebuilt trust, and they resumed regular ordering, bringing back £28,800 in annual revenue within 6 months.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to resolve a complex customer query

A mechanical contractor called needing urgent specifications for engineered components for a hospital project worth £15,000. The original drawings were incomplete and the deadline was 48 hours away. I contacted our technical team and arranged a site visit within 4 hours. I coordinated between our engineers, the contractor, and the project manager to clarify requirements. I prepared detailed specifications and a quotation by the next morning, securing the order and maintaining the project timeline. The customer praised our responsiveness and placed 3 additional orders worth £22,000 over the following quarter.
