Join Our Team as an Inspiring Geography Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our successful and supportive Humanities Department from August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner to teach Geography across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of the world around them and the challenges facing our planet.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ambitious early-career professional with the appropriate qualifications, we welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality Geography lessons and achieving excellent outcomes for students.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Geography across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote curiosity and academic excellence.
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress effectively.
  • Participate fully in the wider life of the school and department.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has a strong subject knowledge in Geography.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
  • Has experience or the capability to teach A-Level Geography.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Shares a passion for high standards of teaching and learning.
