⭐ Lead your Personal Statement with your PQE level and specialism in public children law, as the advert explicitly targets solicitors with 1–5 years' PQE in childcare and public law proceedings.
📊 Quantify your caseload: e.g. "Managed an active caseload of 35+ public law matters simultaneously, including 12 concurrent Care Proceedings cases" to demonstrate capacity and experience.
🏛️ Highlight any Legal Aid experience prominently — the advert flags this as beneficial, and Legal Aid-funded family work is a key differentiator for firms of this type in Leeds.
🎤 Include a dedicated Advocacy section or bullet points referencing court appearances (e.g. Family Court, ICCs, IRHs) as advocacy experience is specifically called out as advantageous.
🤝 Reference your experience working with vulnerable clients — parents, children, and families in crisis — as the advert emphasises sensitivity and complexity in client-facing work.
