1Question

Tell me about a time when you had to manage a complex event project with tight deadlines

I was tasked with managing a 3-week brand activation installation for a major retail client when our original fabrication partner withdrew 10 days before the deadline. I immediately assembled our internal workshop team and identified 2 external suppliers who could handle specialist elements. I restructured the production schedule into daily milestones, coordinated 24-hour shifts across our workshop, and maintained daily client communication. Despite the setback, we delivered the installation 2 days early, achieving 98% client satisfaction and securing a £180,000 follow-up contract.
2Question

Describe a situation where you had to collaborate with multiple departments to deliver a project

For a hospitality venue transformation project, I needed to coordinate between our creative team, workshop fabricators, warehouse logistics, and external installation crew. The creative team's design required custom lighting elements that our workshop hadn't produced before. I organised weekly cross-departmental meetings, created shared project dashboards, and established clear handover protocols between each stage. By facilitating knowledge transfer sessions between departments, we successfully delivered the £95,000 project on time with zero rework required.
