Salary: £130 – £170 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Woking area from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner to deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic progress and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress and attainment
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour in line with school policies
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
• Contribute to the wider life of the school

Person Specification

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary or secondary setting
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to inspire and engage pupils

Desirable:

• Experience within a specific key stage or subject area
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
