Key Responsibilities- Managing and delivering a portfolio of audit and accounts assignments from planning through to completion
- Reviewing work prepared by junior and semi-senior team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for a varied client base
- Overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
- Contributing to the training and development of junior staff members
- Liaising with partners and senior management on client matters and practice development
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Identifying opportunities to add value and provide advisory input to clients
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Proven experience at Manager level or approaching Manager level within an audit and accounts function
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and relevant auditing standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing and supervising the work of junior team members
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to client service
