Butler Rose is exclusively supporting the search for a Tax Accountant to join a well-established, forward-thinking organisation based in Milton Keynes. Working closely with an experienced Head of Tax, you will play a key role across a wide range of tax matters, with a strong focus on VAT and partial exemption. The position offers a balanced mix of compliance, reporting and advisory work, alongside involvement in year-end processes and audit support.
Some of the duties include:
- Managing VAT, corporation tax and wider tax compliance processes
- Supporting tax planning, forecasting and cashflow considerations
- Advising internal stakeholders on tax implications of new activities and transactions
- Assisting with statutory accounts and audit requirements from a tax perspective
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing business impact
About you:
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong grounding in tax, particularly VAT
- Able to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-specialists
- Motivated, collaborative and keen to develop within a commercial environment
