This is an opportunity to step into a high impact Data and AI Strategy role within a growing consulting practice where strategy, governance and advisory work sit firmly at the centre. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to shape how organisations design, govern and scale AI, including GenAI, without being pulled into hands on build or delivery.
The Company
They are a well established management consultancy operating across financial services and other highly regulated industries, with a strong reputation for delivering end to end transformation. Their approach focuses on embedding specialist squads into client organisations to drive meaningful change. Data and AI strategy is a key growth area, with increasing demand from C suite leaders looking for clear direction on AI adoption and governance.
The Role
You will sit within a UK based Data and AI Strategy team, advising senior leaders on how to define, refine and execute AI strategies. The role is advisory led and highly client facing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining data and AI strategies aligned to business objectives and regulatory environments
- Advising on AI governance, GenAI policy and responsible AI frameworks
- Identifying and prioritising AI use cases based on value, risk and feasibility
- Assessing organisational readiness for AI and designing future state operating models
- Leading workshops and stakeholder sessions with senior business and technology leaders
- Supporting clients in build versus buy decisions without owning technical implementation
- Contributing to thought leadership, propositions and internal capability building
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong consulting or advisory experience within data, AI or digital strategy
- Exposure to AI governance, GenAI strategy or operating model design
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and translating complex topics into clear narratives
- Experience in regulated environments such as financial services, energy or similar industries
- Solid understanding of how consulting engagements are structured and delivered
- Commercial awareness and storytelling skills rather than deep technical development expertise
What They Offer
- Competitive salary with performance related bonus
- Private medical insurance and life insurance
- Pension contribution with enhanced employer matching
- 25 days annual leave with the option to buy or sell days
- Hybrid working model with a Shoreditch office base
- Dedicated business coach and clear progression based on performance rather than tenure
- No time at level policy
