The Role
Barber McLelland is working in partnership with a regional accountancy firm based in Barnsley.
The firm has seen continued growth in recent years, creating this new role for an ambitious semi-senior seeking an opportunity with a firm that provides structured support, training, and study support.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role of Accounts Semi Senior will be responsible for the following:
- The preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
- Client bookkeeping
- Dealing directly with the client, this will include the need to make telephone calls and generate and send emails and written correspondence
Skills and Qualities
The successful applicant must have developed a minimum of 3 years experience working within the accountancy profession and will be part qualified AAT, ACA or ACCA.
The individual will also need good communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Remuneration
- £28,000 - £32,000
- Full Study support for ACA/ACCA
