About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools across the Wellingborough area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain hands-on classroom experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher

• Deliver pre-set work and ensure a productive learning environment

• Maintain strong classroom behaviour management

• Support students with their learning where required

• Follow school policies and procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, etc.)

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach

• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Degree-level education (desirable but not essential)
